Improving in Core Strenth

Hank started training with me in June of 2016. I could tell he was strong after our first couple of sessions together, but he lacked core strength. In the beginning, he wasn’t able to complete 10 repetitions of any ab or core exercise without getting cramps and his best plank time was 20 seconds.

Hank is extremely busy with his job, but he makes working out a priority and gives 100% effort. I remember one training day in particular – Hank got caught up in the office, but he still came in to train and had a personal record on squats! He saw the value of working out especially after a stressful and busy day.

In the past month, I’ve noticed that Hank can complete every ab circuit without cramping. And he can now plank for an entire minute! I can recall a time that I asked him to do 12 sit ups and at 12 he said “I can do 3 more”, and continued to 15. This is something he would never have done in our first month together! I love it when clients know that they can challenge themselves more and they make it a point to do so. Hank has been a pleasure to have as a client. I’ve enjoyed watching his progress and can’t wait to see what more he will achieve!
