Happy Monday Everyone! I’ll keep today nice and simple. Have you ever heard of the South Beach Diet? What about the Paleo Diet?
Do you know what they are? If a friend asked you to explain one of the diets to them, would you know what to tell them?
Most people would answer no to that last question I asked, and that’s ok. Thanks to separate articles posted on the Women’s Health and Men’s Health Magazine Websites – you’re in for a treat today. I invite you to pick your poison below by clicking a picture and being taken to info on the diet that interests you. Based on my past experience – Women tend to lean “South Beach” while men tend to check out “Paleo”. I encourage you to look at them both, but that was just a guide for the completely unfamiliar amongst you.

We all try to eat a little bit healthier when we exercise, but have you ever wondered if you’re eating the “right” workout food? You know, the best one that you can when certain key aspects are considered?
Well I came across this great section while perusing the Men’s Health website. The useful section takes a look at the types of foods you’d eat: Pre-Workout, During Your Workout, Post Workout, for an Energy Boost and for Weight Loss. And it’s seriously interesting.
Here’s a rundown of the match-ups they have (click to be taken to match-up):
Like I said, it really is a useful section and I’d encourage your to check it out just to get a good handle on what types of workout foods are out there – and what will provide the most benefit to you when weighed against other options.

Happy Monday everyone! I don’t know if you’ve seen the weather in the area lately, but it’s nice all around. I just came back from the East Coast and left 70 degree temperatures, and now here in the Midwest it’s a week of upper-70′s and lower-80′s. All of that said, I thought I’d share some healthy and delicious nutritional info with you from one of my favorite sites, EatingWell.com…
